Licence

AdHocQ is freeware - it is free for evaluation purposes and for non-commercial use. In a commercial environment, the software must be licensed.

You should also check out DashboardQ. DashboardQ uses a simple web-based approach to display reports and dashboards for database queries.

System requirements

.Net Framework 4.0 Client Profile or later. (The last version of AdHocQ for .Net 3.5 is AdHocQ 1.10).
For MySQL connections, you may need MyOleDB.
For Oracle connections, you may need Oracle Data Access Components (you probably don't need the version with Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio).

When you start AdHocQ, it will try to communicate with the adhocq website to check for updates. Only your current AdHocQ version number is transmitted, and no information is stored. You can choose to block this http request with your firewall without impacting on AdHocQ's functionality.
